KidSmarts for Smart Kids
Welcome
Is you child inquisitive about things?  Asks a lot of questions about what, how and why?
In order to help feed my son's (Jared) desire to learn things, we started a ChessKids club at Gretchko Elementary. We used exercises and teaching levels based upon ChessKids.com.  After we were done with that, I asked him what he wanted to do next?  He said he wanted a Math Club.  I wasn't to sure about the idea, but after some research, found a software program for Scotch Elementary and another website, Figure This  which has numerous thought provoking exercises.  The kids loved the games, and now, we will be looking for the next adventures!
Things we are considering in the years to come!
Next year, we are thinking of a dance club at Gretchko.  I taught line dancing in my past and am thinking about translating those line dances into KidBopz dances.  We will use popular kids music, like Hannah Montana, and teach the kids fun line dances to go with the music!  Look for in Fall of 2008.
